Tyddyn-y-Felin is a period farmhouse dating back to 1592 and was the home of a local bard who was the present owner's Grandfather. Four generations of the family have lived here. The home has a lot of history and used to have a water wheel, hence the name Felin meaning mill.

Situated in a wealth of unspoilt beauty in a quiet position in the hills above Harlech, 1.5 miles with its sandy beaches, 18 hole Royal St. David’s Golf Club and castle. The house is reached via a 300 meter road off a country lane and cycle path which leads to the Roman Steps walk at Cwm Bychan and Cwm Nantcol valley with its waterfalls and magnificent scenery for walking or cycling.

Situated in the Snowdonia National Park and within easy reach of Portmeirion, Porthmadog, Barmouth and several tourist attractions. The owner lives in a small annexe at the side which is private and there is a pond for watching the several birds and wildlife who visit frequently (50 yards).  There are also several other lakes in the area. Shops and pub 1.5 miles.  Private garden and furniture for outdoor dining and picnic bench near the pond and parking area.

Tyddyn-y-Felin is situated in the Snowdonia National Park with its many attractions amongst the wild Rhinog Mountain ranges and many lakes in the area.

Covering over 823 square miles of diverse landscapes, Snowdonia National Park has something for everyone including Ramblers, Cyclists, Wildlife enthusiasts, Bird Watchers, Artists, Photographers, fishing, canoeists and climbers.

Wild goats can be seen in the garden frequently, much to the plants/trees' disappointment! and buzzards are seen often. Star Gazers will be amazed at the bright sky at night, no smog here!
