Out and About

Tyddyn-y-Felin is situated in the Snowdonia National Park with its many attractions amongst the wild Rhinog Mountain ranges and many lakes in the area.  Covering over 823 square miles of diverse landscapes, Snowdonia National Park has something for everyone including  Ramblers, Cyclists, Wildlife enthusiasts, Bird Watchers, Artists, Photographers, fishing, canoeists and climbers.  Wild goats even visit the garden at times much to the plants/trees' disappointment! and buzzards are seen frequently.
Star Gazers will be amazed at the bright sky at night, no smog here!

Tyddyn-y-Felin is within 2 miles of sandy beaches/rock pools and the 18-hole Royal St. Davids golf course and nearby Harlech Castle. We are also within easy reach of Portmeirion(Italianite Village) where the film "The Prisoner" was filmed, Porthmadog and its narrow gauge railways, Barmouth and its Mawddach Estuary and several many other tourist attractions.

There are plenty of footpaths in the area and there is a cycle route on our doorstep - hope you're fit as it's quite hilly in this area!
